Process Applications
GCE’s Process Application portfolio includes various types of products ranging from cylinder valves and combination valves enabling the safe handling of gases associated central gas supply systems and brewery equipment to machine cutting products. Compressed gases are stored and transported in gas cylinders under exceedingly high-pressures typically in the range of 200-300 bars. These cylinders are fitted with shut-off valves which must be able to operate under extreme conditions, e.g. between 65°C under the desert sun to -40°C in the Arctic cold. They also have to meet demanding requirements for rugged durability, absolutely leak-proof sealing and low point-of-emission pressures. Uniquely qualified in this area, GCE stands at the forefront of international development of these products.
Cylinder valves, combination valves
Our broad product range covers many styles, standards and pressure levels, from low-pressure products to more sophisticated designs for technical gases with residual gas-pressure retaining devices for pressures up to 300 bars or higher for certain customized products. Furthermore, a wide range of advanced combination valves and regulators, including protective caps for industrial gases, has been developed and produced for professional users.
