 Back in 1967 it all started for druva in a small garage shop in Eppelheim, Germany. Now, 50 years later it has grown to be one of the main leaders in gas supply solutions, with a strong focus on the design and marketing of pressure regulators and valves.
In the late sixties, the former DruVa Armaturen GmbH evolved from a small commercial garage in Eppelheim, Germany, and gradually became a driving force in the European specialty gas equipment market. With portfolio growth to handle toxic and corrosive gas applications, and catering for markets such as laboratory analytics and semiconductor manufacturing, the DruVa team achieved design rewards, several patents and became a preferred partner for both gas hardware supply and turnkey laboratory gas installations.
Back in 1998, the Sweden based gas equipment manufacturer GCE (Gas Control Equipment) AB in Malmo, decided to broaden its engagement in the European gas hardware business. One of several other growth opportunities was spotted in the specialty gas market. Soon after, the former Druva organisation was acquired and then gradually integrated to form an internationally operating group with more than 1000 employees worldwide.
Presently, Druva central gas systems represent a major share of GCE’s revenue and the business area has diversified into multiple channels including industrial central gas & hydraulic control components; as well as medical and laboratory central gas systems.
