PROPANE, LPG

APPLICATION:

LPG, liquefied petroleum gas is the flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases  (formery called also as propane-butane) used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, vehicles and also as fuel gas in metal fabrication technologies. One of the components of LPG is Propane gas. Propane gives higher energy in the oxy-fuel flame than LPG and also boiling (vaporizing) temperature is lower (it becomes gaseous at lower temperatures). This makes pure propane more efficient for oxy-fuel application than LPG. But both are typicaly used for cutting, brazing, preheating and related technologies.
